4 Years of Experience

My Credentials:

I am a clinical psychologist who completed a master’s degree at the University of Warsaw, specializing in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. I underwent the first stage of Gestalt therapy training at the Warsaw School of Gestalt Psychotherapy. Currently, I am pursuing the second stage of training at the Ukrainian Gestalt Institute and am a member of the public organization ‘National Association of Gestalt Therapists of Ukraine.’

Currently working as a psychologist on the Mental Benefits platform and managing a private practice since 2021. Previously served as a supervisor for employees of the ‘Olivia’ hotline for one and a half years.

I volunteered with the Belarus Women Foundation, providing free psychological services to Belarusian and Ukrainian women, and I contributed to project development through writing texts and voicing informational video clips.

My Approach:

I chose to specialize in the Gestalt approach due to its emphasis on the individual and the therapeutic relationship that evolves between the therapist and the client. Unlike approaches focused on molding clients into improved versions of themselves or swiftly eliminating maladaptive behaviors, Gestalt therapy views the person holistically, with love and respect for every aspect of their being.

As a Gestalt therapist, my main goal is to create a safe, warm, and trusting space where clients feel comfortable exploring themselves openly. From what I’ve seen in my own experience and with clients, this approach helps people feel more confident and calm, improves their relationships, and makes them more aware of their own needs and boundaries.

It also helps them understand themselves better, making it easier to plan their lives and set goals. It’s like finding your path and what gives your life meaning. Plus, it helps them build support systems, both within themselves and with others, leading to a happier and more satisfying life.

To help clients in this process, I offer warmth, support, and acceptance. I create a sense of safety and trust, show genuine interest in who they are, and provide professional guidance and exercises to help them understand themselves better. I also make sure they understand the therapy process and follow ethical guidelines.

About Me:

I am a Belarusian woman with Polish roots who has been living in various countries since 2012. For the past nine years, I have resided in Warsaw, Poland, where I have cultivated my private practice as a clinical psychologist and Gestalt psychotherapist. Having navigated through a myriad of challenges in my own life—multiple immigrations, financial hardships, feelings of loneliness and isolation, pregnancy and raising a child in a foreign land without familial support, battling a life-threatening illness, and enduring political repression from the government—each of these experiences has endowed me with a profound capacity to empathize and connect with the pain and suffering of others.

When I express understanding, it is not merely a statement but a genuine acknowledgement rooted in my personal journey. Having weathered such trials, I assert with sincerity that life persists, and while difficult times may arise, they are transient.

I firmly believe in the resilience of the human spirit and its ability to surmount adversity. I have a deep love for people, approaching each individual with profound reverence, respect, and a profound sense of responsibility when delving into their inner worlds. Each encounter reaffirms to me the exquisite beauty inherent in our uniqueness.

I am an English and Russian-speaking clinical psychologist based in Warsaw, specialised in treating adults (18+).

I harbor a profound affection for my profession, which compels me to continually expand my knowledge base, explore new techniques, and acquire innovative tools. I recognize the paramount importance for psychologists to maintain self-awareness, understand their own dynamics, defense mechanisms, and vulnerabilities.

Engaging in ongoing individual therapy and supervision serves as invaluable support in this endeavor. I am heartened by the existence of pathways that alleviate life’s burdens and infuse it with greater meaning, clarity, and joy. Equally heartening is the accessibility of such avenues. Let us embark together on this journey of growth and discovery.
