Passionate about brain and mind potential, I love to support people thrive in their lives. Life is full of challenges, sometimes having someone by your side is the first key step to face them. I am fascinated by personal growth, humans’ development, and ability of overcoming one’s issues.
I work specifically with personal and relationship issues and work-related challenges. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults. In the range of personal issues my specialties are anxiety and panic attacks, covid-19 related issues, negative thoughts, stress and chronic stress, fear, loneliness, emotion management, self – esteem, personal growth, communication skills. For relationship: couple issues, cheating, insecurity, intimacy issues, jealousy, lack of physical connection. Work related issues: burnout, managing workload, work related pressure, increasing performance, co-workers’ communication, leadership development, teamwork.
For my Bachelor I graduated in Psychology at Niccolò Cusano University in Rome and for my Master in Cognitive Neuroscience at Sapienza University. I have worked for several organizations focusing on Adults’ Mental Health both in Rome and Naples. Having worked in a company environment, I am perfectly aware of the context and dynamics in which work related issues develop. This makes me specifically suited to guide and support clients overcoming work related issues and life issues.
I work with a Pluralistic Humanistic Integrative Approach. Pluralistic: The life of the patient is considered in different contexts: individual, social, familiar, work. Humanistic: The patient is considered as unique human being who requires a tailored therapeutic journey. The patient is an active part of the process, and his personal resources are engaged and empowered. Integrative: The key to a successful journey is the integration of a great number of therapeutic approaches specific for the patient’s needs. Integrative therapy is an approach to treatment that involves selecting the techniques from different therapeutic orientations best suited to a client’s particular problem. By tailoring the therapy to the individual, integrative therapists hope to produce the most significant effects. Integrative therapy is not restricted to a particular methodology or school of thought. Instead, therapists can draw from as many techniques as needed. The goal is to improve the efficacy and efficiency of treatment and adapt it to the specific needs of the individual client.
I value four things in my life: the spirt, the body, the mind, and the relationship with others. I spend most of my time praying and meditating to nurture my spirit and my relationship with God. Outside of work I love being in the nature. I love walking and trekking. Being in the nature really helps to recharge energies after a busy week. I am also passionate about sports; I regularly practice CrossFit. I love to spend time among others: chatting, visiting places, or playing board games.
I am an English-speaking Psychologist in Rome specialised in psychological therapies for teenagers, adults and older adults.
