I am a qualified psychologist working with an international and culturally diverse clientele. I studied for my M.A. in Clinical Psychology at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome. I completed my clinical internship at the “Comunita’ di Vallecchio”, an addiction treatment center where I currently work as a psychologist. In my practice, I support individuals navigating emotional challenges, life transitions, and identity-related questions, offering a thoughtful, confidential, and personalized space. My work includes supporting clients with anxiety, relationship dynamics, identity exploration, addiction and substance use, post-partum emotional support, and LGBTQ+ related experiences. I also work with couples seeking to strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and navigate periods of change with clarity. I am committed to maintaining high professional standards through continuous learning, ensuring that my approach is informed by the latest evidence-based practices while remaining flexible to meet each client’s unique needs.
I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. My approach is collaborative and tailored: I take time to understand your story, your goals, and the context of your experiences. Therapy is not only about addressing challenges but also about fostering self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth. Having lived abroad for more than thirty years, I understand the complexities of living between cultures, including identity, belonging, and continuity. Many clients I work with lead busy international lives and may experience stress, disconnection, or emotional overwhelm that is not always visible. Life transitions, frequent moves, and professional or family demands can create moments of loneliness or uncertainty. Together, we create space to explore these experiences and restore balance. I also support individuals dealing with addiction, post-partum changes, LGBTQ+ identity, and relationship difficulties, with the goal of helping you feel seen, understood, and supported.
My personal and professional paths are closely intertwined. I lived abroad for over thirty years, an experience that has profoundly shaped both my perspective and my work as a psychologist. I know first-hand what it means to adapt to new cultural environments, build relationships from scratch, and negotiate multiple layers of identity. These experiences allow me to connect with clients on a deeper level, particularly those who experience cross-cultural challenges. I understand the subtle, often unspoken emotional demands of expatriate life: balancing connections to different places, managing feelings of displacement, and creating a sense of “home” across borders. I value openness, authenticity, and cultural sensitivity, and I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, grounded, and supportive, where complexity is welcomed and explored without judgment.
I am an English-speaking psychologist offering individual therapy to adults and teenagers, and couples therapy, in-person, online and telephone sessions. I work with an international and culturally diverse clientele, supporting people through emotional challenges, life transitions, and identity-related questions. My aim is to provide a confidential, compassionate, and culturally sensitive space where you can feel heard and understood. Whether you are facing anxiety, relationship difficulties, or simply seeking clarity during a period of change, I offer a thoughtful environment to explore your experiences and reconnect with yourself.
