I am a Registered Psychologist (COP-CV) with a BA in Psychology from the University of Valencia (2006–2011), and I have been registered since 2014. From 2014 to 2019 I trained as a Character-Analytic Psychotherapist at the Spanish School of Reichian Therapy (ESTER), while also undergoing my own intensive therapeutic process. I am currently training in Psychosomatic Integration Therapy at ETIP in Barcelona (2024–ongoing), where I continue to receive therapy and supervision. I have additional training in couples therapy, adolescents, crisis intervention, shame, and online therapy, and more than 8 years of full-time clinical experience. I offer sessions in English, Spanish, and Catalan.
My approach is based on the idea that symptoms are not enemies to eliminate, but meaningful adaptations that deserve to be understood. Anxiety, emotional numbness, self-criticism, and relational difficulties usually developed for a reason, and rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, we explore what these patterns are trying to express or protect. Most people come to therapy seeking relief from suffering, but underneath there is often a deeper need for safety, connection, acceptance, and understanding. Because many of our difficulties are formed in relationship, healing also happens through relationship. The therapeutic space offers the possibility of being met with curiosity, acceptance, and genuine human presence while exploring even the most difficult parts of yourself. The body is present throughout the process. In in-person work, bodywork is integrated into therapy. Online, we work through awareness of sensations, emotions, tension patterns, breathing, and regulation, supporting a deeper connection with yourself and greater emotional resilience. Many clients describe feeling understood without judgment, and supported in finding their own answers rather than being given advice. My aim is not to change who you are, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, so that you can live with greater freedom, authenticity, and choice.
I did not originally study Psychology with the intention of becoming a therapist. I imagined a future in research. This changed in 2013, when a personal crisis led me to seek therapy and self-help groups myself. Although the experience helped in some ways, I often felt that intellectual understanding was not enough; something deeper remained untouched. This led me to search for the kind of therapy I would have needed myself. This search brought me into training as a Character-Analytic Psychotherapist, where I discovered an approach that combines psychodynamic understanding with direct work through the body. Years later, I deepened this path through Psychosomatic Integration Therapy, where I continue to develop both personally and professionally. I have come to believe that healing is not about learning more ways to cope, but about reconnecting with parts of ourselves that have become disconnected, and reintegrating mind and body. Living in Romania, the United States, and Mexico has further shaped my understanding of identity, belonging, and adaptation, especially in the context of living abroad. Outside of work, I value nature, creativity, writing, music, meditation, and meaningful connection. The values that guide my work are truth, authenticity, curiosity, integrity, and respect for each person’s unique path.
I am an English- and Spanish-speaking psychologist and psychotherapist based in Valencia, offering in-person and online sessions to adults and couples using an integrative approach.
