My multicultural background has been enriched by over 10 years of training both in Italy and Canada. I began my studies of Psychology at York University in Toronto and I have then completed my master’s degree in Psychodynamic, Clinical and Community Psychology at the University of Naples “Federico II” in Italy.
Afterwards, I completed a 4-year specialization training in Psychotherapy at the Institute of Systemic Medicine and Psychotherapy (IMEPS), in Naples, Italy, where I currently hold the position of Teacher in Training.
I follow a relational, holistic and integrated approach which is suitable in addressing not only individual psychological challenges, such as anxiety and panic, but also conflicts in couples’ relationships, complex family dynamics, and issues typical of childhood and adolescence. My methodology is based on the principles of the systemic-relational paradigm, as well as to the theory of complexity, taking into account the results of the research in the field of interpersonal neurobiology.
Further enriching my educational journey, I have acquired advanced skills in Clinical and Forensic Psychodiagnostics, in addition to following further education courses in intercultural communication, psychology of immigration, cultural integration.
I believe that well-being is the result of a deep inner balance and authenticity in interpersonal relationships. The path of psychotherapy can illuminate the obstacles that prevent us from living with serenity, fostering understanding and transformation. Throughout my life, I have developed and reinforced this perspective, which I have successfully applied in my professional experience, as evidenced by tangible results achieved with those I have had the honor to accompany.
I am determined to continue facilitating positive change and growth in the individuals I work with, thanks to my dedication to the profession and my ongoing pursuit of knowledge and expertise.
I am a Private English-speaking Psychologist in Italy specialised in psychological therapies for adults, children, older adults, couples, families and teenagers.
