The first years of my career were between Genoa and Turin where I took a Master’s degree in Criminal and Investigative Psychology. My first work experience in this field was in a Protected Residence, a facility where you learn to work with psychiatric people. In Genoa, I also worked in the field of HR and companies. With specialization in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology I’m a member of the Italian Institute Rorschach and Diagnostic Psychology.
In 2016 I found a private Studio in Berlin, where I work as an Integrated Diagnostic Psychologist. Together with my association, we deal with the diagnosis and counseling of Italian patients living in Berlin. In Berlin I’ve been working in the LGBTQ+ community as a specialized psychologist for transition and sexual issues. In Berlin you can find me in my studio in the Friedrichshain area, a studio I share with other professionals who are specialized with me in LGBTQ+ and psycho-nutritional issues. I have worked extensively in the field of nutrition with Mindful-eating together with these professionals, following patients on the path to acceptance of their being and a non-diet-based approach.
I have been living in Milan for almost 3 months and have opened a studio near the Central Station together with health professionals of different types: Obstetricians, Osteopaths and Nutritionists. In my studio in Milan I welcome Expats who want to undertake targeted language therapy, mixed and bilingual couples therapy, and targeted pathways related to other topics. In Milan you can find me in my personal studio next to Stazione Centrale, working with extraordinary specialist in psycho-sexual education. In Milan I took a Master’s degree in Integrated Diagnostic Psychology at IRPSI.
Today I work both in Berlin and Milano, in the Expat world of health and mental care. I’m currently the coordinator of the Bilingual session in Centro Amalthea Milano, taking care of the Special Educational Needs of EXPAT child and families (SEN, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and emotional control).
My strong suit are verbal communication and personal skills that my profession has made me develop over time.
Empathy, problem solving, and working in multidisciplinary team are the skills that have made my profession adaptable to different contexts.
In my everyday practice I use Mindfulness (I have a Master in MBSRP, Mindfulness- Based Stress Reduction Protocol) for working on emotional control, anxiety disorders and mood disorder. I have a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Humboldt- University in Berlin.
