I am a UKCP Registered Systemic Psychotherapist and a member of the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice. I completed an MSc in Family Therapy at King’s College London (2025), following a PGDip in Family Therapy (2024), and hold a Certificate in Systemic Social Work Practice with Children and Families from the Centre for Systemic Social Work (2023). I have also completed additional training in SPACE (Supportive Parents for Anxious Childhood Emotions) through the Yale Child Study Centre (2026). My academic background includes an MPhil in Education and Psychology from the University of Cambridge (2021), a PGDip in Education from University College London (2019), and a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from Durham University (2017).
As a Systemic Psychotherapist, I believe that our experiences are shaped not only by our inner world, but also by our relationships, family history, culture, identity, and the wider systems around us. My approach explores how these connections influence the way we think, feel, communicate, and navigate challenges.
I offer a calm, relationally safe, and compassionate space where you can explore your experiences with honesty and curiosity. I work collaboratively with you to understand patterns that may feel stuck and to develop new perspectives and possibilities for change. My practice is neuroaffirmative, recognising and valuing the many different ways people think, feel, communicate, and make sense of the world.
I was born and raised in Kenya and now live and practise in the UK. My own experience of navigating different cultures, identities, and expectations informs my work with expats and internationally mobile individuals and families, who may face unique challenges around belonging, transition, loss, and adaptation.
I believe therapy is not only for moments of crisis; it can also be a space to reflect, reconnect, and grow at different stages of life. I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing emotional or relational difficulties, including life transitions, identity shifts, communication challenges, cultural differences, family conflict, parent-child and sibling relationships, perinatal experiences, emotionally based school avoidance, loss, bereavement, attachment difficulties, and intergenerational trauma.
Alongside my private practice, I work within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the NHS, continue my professional development, and receive regular systemic supervision. Before training as a therapist, I worked as a primary school teacher, and my background in education continues to shape my understanding of children, young people, and families.
I am a UKCP Registered Systemic Psychotherapist offering online therapy in English to individuals, couples, and families, adults and children. My therapeutic approach is systemic psychotherapy, informed by neuroaffirmative practice, and I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, family conflict, attachment challenges, bereavement, perinatal experiences, identity transitions, and life changes. Drawing on my clinical experience within NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and my own multicultural background, I offer a compassionate and culturally sensitive space to help clients better understand themselves, their relationships, and the systems that shape their lives.
