I am a spanish clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist. I can communicate in french, english and spanish. My approach in therapy is called “Integrative Psychotherapy”, this means that I draw from multiple views of human functioning such as CBT, body psychotherapies, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness or schema therapy.
I have worked in multiple settings since I obtained my degree ranging from elderly to children. My areas of speciality in adults include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, anger issues, grief, procrastination, . In children, I specialise in behavioral modification and neurodevelopmental disorders.
I have a Masters degree in Health Psychology from the University of UNED (Spain), as well as a Master in Neuropsychology from the University of Leiden (Netherlands). I am a registered psychologist with the the Spanish Official Psychology Association of Spain nº CV17630.
In my sessions, I adapt to my clients needs and wants and find the most appropriate tools for them independently of the approach. Furthermore, I like to keep a practical approach, therefore, don’t be surprised if I request outside “work”. The ultimate goal I pursue with each of my clients is to help them overcome their obstacles and heal themselves towards a more authentic and present living.
I have always been very aware of myself, my thoughts and emotions while growing up. With time, my focus started to shift away from myself to others and I wanted to understand all the layers of the human mind. I can say that my journey has led me to find my true vocation. In order to keep my mind sharp and give my best self to my clients, I have the habit of reading/learning everyday about psychology and personal growth. On the other hand, in order to keep my body healthy I follow a healthy diet and do regular cardio and weight exercises.
I am an English-speaking psychologist in Valencia specialised in working with adults, children, families, older adults and teenagers.
